I am planning a trip to Lhasa, the capital of Tibet, and I am beyond excited about this journey. Lhasa has always fascinated me with its rich cultural heritage, stunning landscapes, and spiritual significance. My plan is to spend a few days exploring the iconic Potala Palace, the former residence of the Dalai Lama, and to marvel at its grand architecture and historical treasures. I also want to visit Jokhang Temple, the spiritual heart of Tibetan Buddhism, where pilgrims from all over the region come to pray.
Apart from these cultural landmarks, I am looking forward to wandering around the Barkhor Street market to experience local life and taste authentic Tibetan cuisine, from momos to butter tea. The surrounding mountains and valleys are perfect for photography and trekking, and I hope to spend some time connecting with nature in these breathtaking landscapes.
